September Wine Dinner
Thursday September 19th
Please join us this evening for a special evening of wine and food. This month will feature wines hand selected by our Sommelier and Owner, Cephus Wright II, A 4 course meal prepared by Chef Alex Villegas, and the artistic styling of Keri Jo. During this event Keri will be painting with Tapiz Cabernet, one of the wines being featured, while Cephus and Alex walk you through each wine and dish pairing.

Best Buddies Chef's Challenge

Aura is proud to be apart of this years Chef and Champion Challenge. Cephus is participating as one the champions for Best Buddies Iowa. Best Buddies Iowa Chef and Champion Challenge is a competitive event that hosts a dozen different local restaurants and chefs, as well as highlights our programs through a fundraising competition between our Champions. All of our Chefs and Champions are local leaders who promote Best Buddies mission of friendship and inclusion.
Champion Candidates commit to raising funds and awareness for Best Buddies throughout their campaign. Our Champions advocate for the Best Buddies mission and will generate countless opportunities for friendships, jobs, leadership development, inclusive living, and family support. At the Best Buddies Chef and Champion Challenge celebration, we honor the Champions’ collective impact and name the ultimate Champion of the Year as well as Chef of the year.
Join us for an evening of food and friendship at the Knapp Center in Des Moines for hearty appetizers and desserts prepared by chefs from a dozen area restaurants and Best Buddies Iowa buddy pairs. We will have an all new program showcasing our work, as well as drinks, games and a live and silent auction! Hope to see you there!

As we get into 'Spooky Season' make the less scary decision to join us for another night of multi-coursed fine dining with our Sommelier Cephus Wright II and Chef Alex Villegas. This month we will be focusing on classical French wine and cuisine pairings. If you like Red Burgundy and Beef bourguignon this dinner will the one for you!
